Negotiation Update on Your Contracts: Scheduled Pay Increases for Top-Rate Associates and Dept. Heads Start April 3

Thank you for your continued commitment to our customers and your patience throughout the bargaining process.  We have some good news to share with our top-rated associates and department heads.

In August 2020, we informed Local 455, that we would implement our Last, Best, and Final Offer, including:

  • $56 million investment in wages
  • More than $75 million annually on health care for hourly associates

As part of our Last, Best, and Final Offer, all top-rate associates will be receiving a wage increase of $.40/hr effective for hours worked beginning Sunday, April 3, 2022. Department heads will be receiving an $.50/hr increase starting Sunday, April 3, 2022, as well.

These wage increases will be posted in Express HR on April 6 and will be reflected in your April 14 paycheck.

This increase is just one of several associates have received over the past year and a half as the result of the Company’s implementation of the LBFO, including most recently in February 2022 when associates within progression steps received an increase.

Negotiations Update

  • As we have shared before, the company has NOT reached a tentative agreement with the union.
  • We have expressed interest to Local 455 that we want to go back to the negotiation table and bargain your contracts.
  • We have offered to meet with the union but have not received a response.
