Kroger Advocates for Positive Negotiations with UFCW Local 455 Encouraging Fairness and Commitment to Associates

Houston, TX (January 23, 2023) – Kroger is currently engaged in contract negotiations with UFCW Local 455 and aims to secure a mutually beneficial agreement that meets the needs of its associates and the communities it serves.

In a call for constructive dialogue, Kroger urges Local 455 to act in the best interests of Kroger’s associates and their valued members, continuing negotiations without resorting to premature actions that may unsettle the workforce.

Recognizing the pivotal role of the labor contract in determining crucial aspects of its associates’ employment and well-being, such as paychecks, healthcare, and pensions, Kroger emphasizes the significance of arriving at a fair agreement.
